Take a Closer Look at the Sony PlayStation 5
Ahead of the official global release.

Ahead of the official global release of the PlayStation 5, we now have a closer look at Sony‘s latest flagship gaming console. Already available in seven key markets — the U.S., Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea — the next-gen console features quick loading times, heightened immersion and a whole new generation of experiences.
Available in a Digital Edition and a version with an Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc drive, both models come with the same custom processor with integrated 8 Core x86-64-AMD Ryzen “Zen 2” CPU and AMD Radeon RDNA GPU. Along with an 825GB ultra-high-speed SSD with integrated I/O for lightning-fast loading.
The powerful internals work in unison to provide high-fidelity visuals, including 4K graphics and ray-tracing support, up to 120fps with 120Hz output and HDR technology for up to 8K gaming with 4320p resolution. Paired with the new DualSense Wireless Controller, the “Tempest” 3D AudioTech provides a heightened sense of immersion with every game.
Aside from an array of launch titles with free upgrades for PlayStation 4 gamers looking to transition to the new console in the future, PS Plus will off a selection of curated PS4 games.
Priced at $399 and $499 USD respectively, the Sony PlayStation 5 Digital Edition and Ultra HD Blu-Ray Disc Drive version will be officially released globally on November 19.
