For Fall/Winter 2020/21, Save The Duck – a 100% animal-free quilted jacket brand – has launched its Urban Collection, drawing inspiration from the great outdoors in its signature style jackets that stand out for their advanced ergonomics and minimal designs. The new outerwear range, for men and women, puts a twist on archetypal outdoor jackets and pushes the boundaries of sustainable craftsmanship throughout.

In the creation of the range, Save The Duck has been inspired by the uncontaminated lands of Tibet, of the Ladakh Valley in Kashmir and the greatness of the Himalayas. Technological research behind the brand’s collection is in continuous evolution – reflecting nature’s constant transformation – leading to a style that is ever-increasingly minimalist, essential and related to the environment.

Fabrics from the brand’s ‘Pro-Tech’ capsule line – ‘HERO’, ‘FREE’ and ‘EVER’ – offer a mix of high levels of performance, elevated protection against the cold, wind and rain, freedom of movement, and high-performance anti-abrasion Oxford structures. The range has an urban character and inspired by the highest peaks of the mountains and the uncontaminated woody landscapes.

The brand’s designs and capsules aim to have a positive impact on the environment. These capsules, as well as the entire outerwear collection, have been crafted from luxurious animal-free materials, sustainably sourced wind-proof and water resistant fibers and use recycled quilting exclusively. Interestingly, despite these environmental measures there’s zero compromise on the product’s performance. In 2019, the brand became the first down-free outerwear sports gear to scale Everest thanks to mountaineer Kuntal A. Joisher and his team, who had approached the brand about assembling gear that was in line with his beliefs and vegan lifestyle.

Check out the range in the images above and head to the Save the Duck site to find out more about the collection.
