Kid Cudi and adidas Originals Bring Back 'Bill & Ted's' Artillery Hi
Like-for-like pairs drawn from the 1991 film are recreated alongside a Kid Cudi-designed muted colorway.

Back in September, we got a look at Kid Cudi and adidas Originals‘ Artillery Hi collection, and now the Three Striped brand has unveiled the collaborative project in full.
The collection is informed by the hit 1991 film Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, the second film to star Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) that follows the two as they start their own band — the Wyld Stallyns. Almost 30 years later, the duo is set to return in Bill & Ted Face the Music, which will feature a cameo from Kid Cudi.
As a result, adidas Originals and Kid Cudi have come together to re-introduce the Artillery Hi sneakers that were worn in the original film, as well as another OG-inspired colorway. Although it has its roots in being a basketball sneaker, the shoe had its moment in the 1990s when Bill and Ted donned the high-top pair and performed.
The new offering is a faithful recreation of those worn by Bill and Ted, comprising a body made from premium leather, protective overlays, and pops of contrasting color. “White/Red” and “Black/White” colorways will be releasing and will be complete with a “Wyld Stallyns” logo on the heel, just like the band’s pairs, while another pair reworked by Kid Cudi in white with gray and black accents will also be dropping to fully introduce the archived silhouette to a new audience.
The Kid Cudi x adidas Originals Artillery Hi Bill & Ted collection will drop on November 12 at adidas stores and on its website. Take a closer look at the sneaker collection above.
In other news, the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Fade” is rumored to also release soon.
