RIMOWA Transforms Signature Luggage Into Chic Crossbody Bags
Arriving in white, black, Desert Rose and Cactus.

Under Alexandre Arnault’s purview, RIMOWA has transformed from a heritage luggage line into a bonafide trendsetter, its signature aluminum cases now a status symbol no less covetable to the monogram-laden bags devised by other LVMH maisons. For Fall/Winter 2020, the brand has issued a miniature crossbody iteration of its signature ridged suitcase, reimagining it as a crossbody shoulder bag dubbed the Personal Case.
First seen at Dior’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection, the German-made bags are crafted from polycarbonate rather than ridged aluminum to make for a lighter weight wearable. Embossed with RIMOWA branding, the minute bag features a lengthy adjustable strap that can be removed to modify it into a clutch. Two leather bands secure the case and ensure it doesn’t pop open in transit while leather lining cradles its contents. This debut collection will see the Personal offered in shades of white and black, plus seasonal shades of Desert Rose and Cactus.

RIMOWA most recently imagined its signature suitcases in a quietly stylish camouflage pattern.
