Lil Nas X has officially announced his upcoming single “Holiday” with a trailer that features everyone’s favorite time-traveller, Michael J. Fox.

The teaser begins with Nas X’s viral hit “Old Town Road” playing in the background as he rides through an old west town. The rapper passes and stares at a wanted sign of himself then comes across an intoxicated Santa Claus getting kicked out of one of the saloons. He then picks up the Santa hat and watches the label, which also serves as a “binding agreement,” change from “Santa Claus” to “Santa Nas X,” and his horse quickly transforms into a reindeer while his cowboy outfit is switched out to the iconic red suit of Father Christmas. Nas X hops on his futuristic sled and travels through time to celebrate cheer, but Fox warns the rapper of the mess 2020 is currently in: “Whatever you do, Nas, don’t go to 2020.”

“Holiday” is Nas X’s first solo musical release since his debut EP 7, which dropped in June 2019 at the height of “Old Town Road.” The upcoming single will most likely be part of his forthcoming debut studio album and will join tracks that are entitled “Call Me By Your Name” (after the novel and the coming-of-age film starring Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamet), “One of Me,” “Titanic,” and “Don’t Want It.”

Watch the trailer above. Lil Nas X’s “Holiday” drops November 13.

Elsewhere in music, Post Malone and Swae Lee’s “Sunflower” has officially gone diamond.
