Louis Vuitton Teases Bright "Metallic Silver" Colorway of LV Trainer
Silver-foil uppers for the basketball-inspired sneaker.

Louis Vuitton has teased a brand new “Metallic Silver” colorway of its LV Trainer. The silhouette has become a major staple within Louis Vuitton’s expansive footwear catalog under Virgil Abloh‘s direction, and the new iteration is one of the label’s boldest yet.
A sleek black “LV” monogram is stamped at the top of the tongue, complemented by a set of crisp white laces. The uppers boast a silver foil-like texture, complemented with white rubber panels at the eyelets and forefoot. Matching the logo at the tongue is “Louis Vuitton” branding etched along the lower midsection of the shoe, while subtle perforations at the sidewalls and toebox round up the details of the uppers. All of these features rest over a white midsole that’s etched with the luxury house’s floral motifs near the heel and light gray rubber overlays near the toes.
No official drop dates for Louis Vuitton’s LV Trainer “Metallic Silver” have been disclosed but sources suggest that it will be releasing soon.
