With Certified Lover Boy set to arrive January 2021, Drake recently touched on just what he can expect from his sixth studio album.

The Canadian artist recently joined his father Dennis Graham‘s Instagram Live jam session in celebration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ presidential election victory. Interacting with fans in the comments, Drake noted that he is already expected people to hate on Certified Lover Boy as they did with his fourth studio album, Views. “They hated on Views just like they will CLB but it’s music to evolve.”

From Drake’s comment, it looks that we can expect the OVO head to deliver a range of tracks that differ from what he has become known for in recent years. When Views released back in 2016, many noted the introspective nature and distinct angst-riddled tone of the project despite hits like “Hotline Bling,” “Pop Style” and “One Dance.”
