Tokyo-based magazine Sabukaru has teamed up with BYBORRE to showcase the label’s Edition7 collection with an understated editorial that highlights technical knitting innovation from an alternative perspective.

First unveiled earlier this year with a minimalist lookbook, Sabukaru has teamed up with Kei Hashimoto from Car Service and Dion Wynn from Agnes Krull — two of Tokyo’s most promising designers — to expertly show BYBORRE’s latest offering through a different lens.

One of the most exciting labels in Amsterdam right now, BYBORRE has become renowned for its disruptive and innovative approach to the world of fashion — and in particular knitwear. Shot by Tokyo-based photographer Billy Fischer, Sabukaru, Hashimoto and Wynn have created their own take on BYBORRE’s collection, from a Tokyo perspective.

You can check out the editorial via the gallery above, and visit BYBORRE’s website for more information regarding “Edition 7.”

In other news, BYBORRE and has linked up with Descente ALLTERRAIN for a three-in-one Transform Jacket.
