Lexus Enlists LFA Craftsman for Limited Edition "Aviation" LC 500
Just 70 made.
Lexus has just added a new limited edition version for both its LC 500 and LC 500h sports coupes. Inspired by lines of an airplane, hence the name “Aviation,” this special edition takes the LC 500 and adds design elements from the iconic LFA — even going as far as enlisting the same craftsman that created the 3D carbon fiber components on the superar.
Enchancements include 21-inch split-spoke wheels, an all-black Spindle grille, special shift knob, custom steering wheel, an “Aviation-Black” interior, and most importantly, the curved carbon fiber reinforced plastic wing that improves yaw and stability at high speeds.
Sadly, the Aviation edition LC 500 is exclusive to Japan with only 70 examples made. Those living in Japan can order one for approximately ¥15,000,000 JPY (approximately $143,700 USD) starting Jan 6, 2021. Head over to Lexus Japan for more info.
