This Is Hennessey's 750 HP Ford Bronco VelociRaptor V8
Just 24 will be built costing $225,000 USD each — but you also get 0-60 MPH in 4.5 seconds and a supercharger.
Hennessey has announced that it shall build the 2021 Ford Bronco that we all so desperately want — a full-bodied supercharged five-liter V8 VelociRaptor edition that will deliver 750 HP.
The standard Bronco — in either two or four-door configuration — is fitted with a turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 engine that produces a less-than-desirable 310 HP. Now, at the hands of Hennessey, 24 lucky customers will be able to live the ultimate 4×4 experience as they get to learn what 0-60 MPH in 4.5 seconds in a tuned Bronco feels like.
Hennessey achieves these figures thanks to upgraded fuel injectors, a high-flow intake and a stainless steel cat-back exhaust, as well as a host of other mechanical updates alongside the new supercharger. Optional equipment such as an off-road specification suspension system and tires will also be available, while a new look for the Bronco will make those know yours is a limited-edition Hennessey version.
Body updates include VelociRaptor front and rear bumpers with LED lights, new aluminum wheels, custom badges, grilles and liveries, a new interior, a custom hood with a hood scoop, and a serial number plaque.
The Hennessey Ford Bronco VelociRaptor V8 will be available in two or four-door configuration and will cost from $225,000 USD, with production starting next year. Take a closer look at the car above.
