Benny Gold Is Raffling His HUF Collection in Memory of the Brand's Founder
Following the passing of Keith Hufnagel earlier this year.
Skate icon and HUF Worldwide founder Keith Hufnagel sadly passed away at the age of 46 earlier this year after a two-year battle with brain cancer. Now fellow streetwear designer and long-time friend Benny Gold is raffling off his own collection of HUF clothing and donating all proceeds to cancer research.
Hufnagel became a celebrated figure in the world of professional skateboarding, helping to shape the East Coast scene in the ’90s. He then went on to found HUF Worldwide in 2002, which saw him become a major part of the genesis of streetwear and skate culture as we now know it.
“Keith did so much for so many people and losing him to brain cancer is an absolute tragedy,” a recent Benny Gold Instagram post reads. “He gave me the career I have today and I am proud of everything we did together. I am raffling off my entire HUF clothing collection and donating all the proceeds in Keith Hufnagel’s name to cancer research”.
Consisting of over 150 T-shirts, sweatshirts and hats, each piece up for raffle was produced in extremely limited quantities and available exclusively in the first HUF location in San Francisco. Hear more from Benny Gold and the raffle below, and find out how to enter the raffle here.
