V Don Announces New Project 'Black Mass' & Drops Lead Single
Enlisting the likes of Dave East, Smoke DZA & more for the 12-track project.
V Don has officially announced his forthcoming project Black Mass, enlisting the help of Dave East, ETO, Smoke DZA, Da$h, 38 Spesh, El Camino, Willie The Kid, Rigz, Dark Lo, Sauce Heist, D. Polo and Kadeem for the 12-track album.
The Harlem-based producer is celebrating the news with the release of the album’s titular lead single, tapping rising artist ETO for the menacing track. “ETO was the first person I thought of while cooking this beat up. It was grimey, but still melodic, I sent it to over to him and he painted a movie” V Don said in a statement. “It fit exactly what I was looking for to be the title track for Black Mass.” ETO adds, “Don’s beats paint the picture for me! I don’t know where to go until I hear it, but when I do, I know how to paint the picture.”
