Artnet Auctions Offers Nine Limited Edition KAWS Tondo Prints

Abstract-meets-figurative works.

Artnet Auctions is hosting a sale featuring nine tondo prints from KAWS’ THE NEWS series. From Spongebob-inspired attributes to “XX” letterforms in vivid tones, each work features pop culture-infused compositions with the acclaimed Brooklyn-based artist’s ubiquitous motifs.

The “KAWS: THE NEWS” collaborative sale is live now on Artnet’s website through January 28. Estimates range between 10,000-15,000 USD.

Elsewhere in art, celebrated Japanese artists Harumi Yamaguchi and YOSHIROTTEN present powerful female illustrations as part of a new group exhibition at NANZUKA 2G in Tokyo, Japan.
