Following behind eye-catching styles like 19th-century textile sneakers and upcycled track jackets, By Walid has now put its unique spin on the classic bomber jacket. The staple outerwear piece is jazzed up under the eye of creative director Walid al Damirji, who splices together colorful florals and rich fabric swatches for a refreshing take on the style.
Shades of purple, fuchsia and burgundy come together on the exterior through a patchwork design, while select panels in grey and black bring in a neutral touch. To accentuate the handcrafted aesthetic, exposed stitching details are featured throughout, adding a subtly worn-in feel to the velvety silk exterior. It’s rounded out with a front-button closure, collar and drawstring waist for a customizable fit.
