Bode‘s latest piece of outerwear is an inventive one. Blending the lines between fashion and art, the PVC Penny Workwear Jacket takes the staple chore coat silhouette but reinterprets its with a contemporary lens — crafting the entire jacked out of transparent PVC material with green corduroy trim at the spread collar, cuffs and hem.
The most unique detail(s) in this jacket can be found throughout the body of the jacket. Hundreds of individual square-quilt pockets have been stitched where a single penny can be found placed inside. Reminiscent to the copious pockets found on Final Home’s Survival Jacket, each penny adds industrial appeal to the garment that is both tactile and visual.
Those looking for a conversation piece can find this American-made PVC jacket over at SSENSE for $1,310 USD.
