Fear of God Preps Exclusives for Celebrity-Adored Fitness Studio AARMY
Jerry Lorenzo partners with sister Angela Davis for collaborative wearables.
Fear of God founder Jerry Lorenzo likes to keep it all in the family, as indicated by his new partnership with AARMY, the luxury group fitness gym co-founded by his sister, Angela Davis, along with former SoulCycle master trainer Akin Akman. Lorenzo revamped the emerging athletics company’s branded hoodie, emblazoning the AARMY logo atop two heavyweight Fear of God silhouettes.
Household names like Beyoncé, JAY-Z, Janelle Monae and longtime Davis client Usher have all frequented AARMY outposts, leading the charge for other health-conscious celebrities, including Karlie Kloss and Busy Phillips. To commemorate AARMY’s newest pop-up in Los Angeles — its temporary New York space launched in late 2019, while the LA location opened its doors on January 17 — Fear of God has contributed a pair of muted layering pieces emblazoned with the fitness center’s recognizable all-caps logo. The hefty hoodie and long-sleeves T-shirt utilize a black base to highlight the contrasting white prints on the rear and chest, with FOG’s trademark slouchy cuts ensuring an ideal post-workout fit.
Retailing for $195 USD and $225 USD, respectively, the T-shirt and hoodie are available exclusively at AARMY’s two pop-ups.
Elsewhere, Lorenzo’s staple ESSENTIALS sub-label launched a series of bi-color leather bags.
