adidas Originals Adds ZX 8000 OG "Aqua" Colorway to '90s-Inspired Torsion Comp
A homage to its Torsion technology roots.

adidas Originals‘ retro-inspired Torsion Comp has surfaced in an all-new “Aqua” colorway, paying homage to the ZX 8000 OG that was recently re-released under its Consortium division.
The “Aqua” colorway is comprised of bright blue leather — perforated on the toe box and on the side panels — as well as purple and yellow TPU segments marking the Three Stripe branding and the external heel stabilizer. More purple is used in the form of textile cushioning on the toe, while the same fabric in grey is used to support the rear.
Rounding off this ’90s performance tennis-inspired sneaker is a matching blue mesh tongue that sports the Torsion technology badge and embroidered OG adidas branding, a yellow-and-blue sock liner, and a lightweight EVA sole unit that is equipped with the aforementioned Torsion tooling.
