Parley & adidas Originals Rework ZX Torsion BOOST in Three Sustainable Iterations
From “Semi Solar Green” color blocking to “Linen” and “Hi-Res Aqua.”
Parley and adidas Originals have recoupled for a trio of reworked ZX Torsion BOOSTs, combining its ’80s-inspired tech-heavy aesthetic with recycled waste for a new, sustainable update.
The trio is releasing in colorways including “Off-White/Hi-Res Aqua/Semi Solar Green,” “Off-White/Cloud White/Hi-Res Aqua” and “Off-White/Linen/Linen Green.” The standout pair is the first on show here, bringing a bold and bright colorway to its reworked and recycled ocean waste yarn-weaved upper. adidas Originals’ other pairs sport more Fall-ready hues, delivering muted tones reminiscent of the beaches and coastal communities of which the plastic has been reclaimed from.
adidas Originals stays true to the retro design cues with OG trefoil branding on the tongue, a Torsion-branded lace lock and 3M detailing throughout. Parley adds its finishing touches in the form of a logo tongue tab and cork footbed.
