Xanman Drops off Fifth Project of 2019, 'Broken'
The DMV upstart’s work ethic is nearly unmatchable.

Xanman might be the hardest working upstart in hip-hop. The promising DMV prodigy has now released his fifth project of 2019, entitled Broken. Dropping off the collection of 15 tracks early Monday morning, the teenager’s latest full-length project continues in showcasing his riotous take on the D.C. area hip-hop sound.
Continuing with his affinity for a well-rounded approach to the genre, Xanman relays a variety of hits from trap-laden club brawlers like “Not” and “Foulin The Plug” to more laidback R&B love cuts like the album’s lead single “Broken, Pt. 1” and “Have You Been.” The rapper equally brings back his earlier released hit “Gucci Down,” tapping fellow DMV artists YungManny and Rico Nasty for a well-orchestrated remix. As is signature to Xanman’s sound, Broken doesn’t shy lack any of the comedic one-liner tendencies the artist is known for—on “Foulin The Plug” he gets right in-your-face with bars like “Put a b*tch underground Harriet Tubman” and more.
