Offset Talks About His Love for Jordans & Spends $31K USD on 'Sneaker Shopping'
The Migos superstar is a huge sneakerhead.
Last month, actress, model, singer and activist Cara Delevingne headed to Sneakersnstuff LA to do some shopping and share some footwear-related anecdotes for a mid-August episode of Sneaker Shopping. Now, Migos superstar Offset is the latest high-profile name to appear on an edition of the popular YouTube series.
Specifically, Offset — accompanied by Joe La Puma — heads out to Flight Club in Los Angeles for the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping, racking up a bill of over $31,000 USD while discussing his favorite sneakers. As he dished out cash on new pairs of Air Jordan Retros and SB Dunks, the Father of 4 rapper opened up about how he acquired a Macklemore x Nike Air Jordan 6.
“I did a song with him called ‘Willy Wonka,’ recorded it at his home,” Offset tells Sneaker Shopping‘s Joe La Puma. “I came to the crib, we were shooting hoops. He brought them out to me like, ‘I appreciate you. This record’s going good. My brother. Great friendship.” And he gave me those. In my head I wanted to go crazy and run around, but I played it cool, but I knew that was like a 25 grand shoe.”
Altogether, Offset managed to conclude this week’s edition of Sneaker Shopping with 27 new pairs of sneakers to his name.
