J. Cole, DaBaby & Lute Reconnect for New "Under the Sun" Visual
A highlight off Dreamville’s recent group album.
Earlier this year, the Dreamville Records crew served up a new group album titled Revenge of the Dreamers III. Now, continuing to support that full-length release, J. Cole, DaBaby and Lute — all North Carolina natives — are reconnecting to breathe new life into their Revenge of the Dreamers III collaboration “Under the Sun.” Notably, this latest Dreamville clip was put together by directors Scott Lazer, Aisultan Seitov, David Peters and Chad Tennies.
“Nothing new under the sun, nobody f*cking with son / I got a couple of sons, a couple of guns / A couple of n***as that bust up the party and f*ck up the fun,” J. Cole spits on “Under the Sun.” “She digging me and I’m cuffing her friend / She IG’-ing you while we f*cking for fun / I got her suckin’ her thumb, that’s my lil’ baby / She call me daddy like grandmama baby / If this Sunday dinner, my hand on her gravy / I been on the craziest wave, if I’m on the stage / An M is my minimum wage / This ain’t no kennel, behave / N***as is with all that barking, we send ‘em a stray / So in a way we the dogcatchers / How many bullets your dawg catchin’? / Sawed-off, raw dog fashion / Hauled off, hope God catch him, damn.”
You can take a look at J. Cole, DaBaby and Lute’s new, collaborative music video for their Dreamville collaboration “Under the Sun” above.
Previously, J. Cole, EarthGang, Smino and Saba served up a visual for their Revenge of the Dreamers III record “Sacrifices.”
