'90s Nightmares Return in Full-Length 'Are You Afraid of the Dark?' Trailer
The Midnight Society makes its return.
Having released a teaser trailer earlier this summer, Nickelodeon has now shared the first full-length trailer for its upcoming Are You Afraid of the Dark? reboot.
For those who grew up in the ’90s, you’ll instantly remember The Midnight Society and their abundance of scary stories being told. In the trailer posted above, the new Midnight Society recounts the tale of the “Carnival of Doom” and its evil ringmaster Mr. Top Hat. Soon the events in the story begin to occur in real life.
The new Midnight Society members will be played by Sam Ashe Arnold (Best.Worst.Weekend.Ever), Miya Cech (Rim of the World, Always Be My Maybe), Tamara Smart (Artemis Fowl, The Worst Witch), Jeremy Taylor (IT, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween); and Lyliana Wray (Top Gun: Maverick, Black-ish). Rafael Casal (Blindspotting) will take on the role of Mr. Tophat.
The three-part Are You Afraid of the Dark? limited series event is scheduled to premiere on Friday, October 11 at 7 p.m. EST. The following two episodes will air on October 18 and finally October 25. The original series ran from 1992 to 2000.
