1017 ALYX 9SM Drops a Duo of Progressive Hiking Boots
Complete with delicate pony hair and carbon fiber textiles.
After recently unveiling a pair of Derbys with a detachable midsole, 1017 ALYX 9SM has returned with two new hiking boots, constructed with progressive textiles in a bold arrangement of patterns.
The first highlight is the hazel-toned hiking boots, clad in delicate pony hair fabrics and smooth leather panels. “1017 ALYX 9SM” branding is embroidered at the tongue, followed by round black laces and silver-tone eyelets that cover the forefoot. Complete with textured overlays around the heel and mudguards, the boots feature a chunky midsole equipped with Vibram technology.
The next piece sees the same design cues as the aforementioned boots, except glossed with carbon-fiber uppers around the collars, sidewalls and toe box. Premium nubuck fabrics appear along the tongue, complemented by gunmetal-toned lace hooks and sleek leather strips at the toes. As a finishing touch, tonal ripstop nylon at the rear quarter and detailed treading on the Vibram sole round up the rugged footwear piece.
The 1017 ALYX 9SM Hiking Boots are currently available in “Black” and “Brown” at ln-cc.com for $830 and $930 USD, respectively.
Elsewhere, Converse Addict has dropped premium Chuck Taylors with sleek GORE-TEX coating.
