Sneaker Charleston Gets Saucy With Saucony Jazz "Carolina Mustard"
Celebrating a summer staple in style.
Charleston’s Sneaker is making the most of the waning summer season with a special sneaker designed in partnership with Saucony. Taking on the classic Jazz Original Vintage silhouette, the Southern sneaker boutique has crafted a tasty “Carolina Mustard” colorway.
Carolina Mustard isn’t any mere bottled condiment; it’s a specific kind of mustard-based barbecue sauce, a spicy flavor ideal for grilling up some seasonal snacks. The thematic sneaker sports a gun rubber outsole and off-white midsole to anchor the bold upper, which sees premium suede rendered in the namesake yellow-y hue. Leather Saucony branding and a breathable nylon tongue add some textural contrast, with more subtle details arriving by way of “SNEAKER” embroidery on the heel, a co-branded insole and an extra set of laces packed in a faux sauce packet.
