Pilgrim Surf + Supply Team Up With Vans Vault on Premium Epoch Sport LX
Covered in hairy “Marshmallow/Cendra Blue” suede.
Brooklyn-based Pilgrim Surf + Supply has revisited its collaborative partnership with Vans for the release of a luxurious take on the Epoch Sport LX.
The hairy suede-wrapped pair is finished in a Summer-ready mix of “Marshmallow” and “Cendra Blue,” and features a perforated Jazz Stripe-inspired V on the lateral side. The pair is far more luxe and elevated than last year’s Authentic LX and OG Style 36 LX release, delivering a clean update on this ’90s skateboarding classic with the addition of leather insoles and meticulous zig-zag finished stitching on the vamp.
Contrasting its tonal upper is a thick white sole unit which features blue and white waffle outsole and a matching license plate on the rear. Rounding off the design is an “OFF THE WALL” tongue tag and a set of flat cream laces.
The Pilgrim Surf + Supply x Vans Epoch Sport LX is set to release at its Brooklyn store on August 9 for $85 USD and online. The pair will also release on August 10 via retailers such as BEAMS Japan and Pilgrim Surf + Supply’s Tokyo store. Take a closer look above.
