PUMA is throwing it back for the release of the RS-X Bold. The latest addition to the family of style- and tech-forward sneakers pulls inspiration from retro toys, evident in its trio of nostalgic colorways.

In previous versions of the model, PUMA has used the chunky silhouette as a canvas for out-of-the-box, high impact colorways. The playful RS-X Bold is no exception. On one version, a black mesh upper is offset by bursts of primary and secondary colors on rubber and leather overlays. Oversized branding and the shoe’s sole are washed in the same multi-color palette. Similarly, blocks of neon green, purple and black play off a white option, finished off with hits of red. The third iteration utilizes vintage hues of yellow and red against a muted sand base for a slightly more subtle option.

Behind the shoe’s striking appearance is the RS-X’s signature technology on the midsole. The innovation, originally created for runners in the ’80s, adds stability to the bulky sneaker rounding out the footwear’s fashion-meets-function sensibility.

Check on the offerings above and head to PUMA’s website to purchase the RS-X Bold for $110 USD.
