'Fast & Furious' Stars' Contracts Have Clauses That Say They Can't Lose Fights
So that they don’t look weaker than their co-stars.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, and Vin Diesel have clauses in their contracts that guarantee they can’t lose fights in Fast & Furious movies. Sources within the franchise revealed that the stars have stipulations and procedures in place to make sure they don’t look weaker than their co-stars.
When approached about the clauses, Universal representatives noted that the stipulations were all for the audience. “Every character has their moment, and that all are seen as formidable opponents. Each ‘Fast’ character is a hero to someone watching, and we never forget that.”
