Nike Readies Bold New D/MS/X In Upcoming "Signal" Pack
Inspired by custom bikes and cars.
Shortly after unveiling its N110 D/MS/X, Nike has returned to showcase a trio of upcoming D/MS/X as part of the “Signal” pack. The D/MS/X was born out of a desire to challenge the mold of standard proportions, thereby embodying a sense of irreverence.
The silhouette draws inspiration from the way custom bikes and cars are taken apart and reconstructed, and the latest “Signal” pack is a good example of this. A slew of intricate layers and decorative finishes have been rendered in three bold colorways: “Black/Pale Vanilla,” “Dark Grey/Ocean Cube” and “White/Red Orbit.” Breathable mesh fabrics line the tongue, complemented by round laces and thick eyelets. Thin rubber translucent overlays stretch from the heel all the way to the edge of the toe cap, covering the soft inner layers. All of these features are placed over an articulated midsole that comes with a large rubber insert at the footbridge.
The Nike D/MS/X “Signal” pack will be available on August 15 at nike.com and at select retailers like atmos-tokyo.com.
