NikeCourt Unveils Air Zoom Zero-Equipped Air Jordan 8 in Upcoming Tennis Collection
The FW19 drop is inspired by New York City and basketball.

Nike has unveiled the NikeCourt Fall/Winter 2019 collection featuring an updated pair of Air Jordan 8s alongside a selection of basketball and tennis-inspired pieces.
The Air Jordan 8 sports the much-loved “White Aqua” colorway, but has been modified for the upcoming season to feature a sole unit taken from the NikeCourt Air Zoom Zero. The reimagined Jordan stays true to its basketball roots with its unique vamp straps, side panel clips and high-cut collar left intact.
Elsewhere, NikeCourt delivers a selection of tennis pieces indebted with basketball design cues, such as tearaway track pants and the Slam Tennis Jacket. Another reference for the collection is New York City, which is seen in the Advantage Men’s Tennis Pol0 as it sports a unique brick-like pattern throughout the off-white and purple design.
Professional tennis players Sloane Stephens and Frances Tiafoe have been enlisted to model the FW19 collection, while Serena Williams will be wearing a custom NikeCourt bodysuit on court and pair of custom Flare Knit Lows with an iridescent heel drawn from the streets of NY.
The NikeCourt FW19 collection releases August 19 on Nike.com and at select retailers worldwide.
