COMME des GARÇONS Taps George Cox for Latest Pair of Leopard Bondage Creepers
Shaking up the mold with BDSM-inspired details.

Back in 2016, COMME des GARÇONS and English shoemaker George Cox teamed up for a set of black leather creepers that appeared in CdG’s Homme Plus FW16 “Armour of Peace” fashion show. The two have joined together once again, this time for a highly detailed pair of leopard lace-up creepers.
Made in the U.K., the leather shoes see a bevy of metallic trinkets alongside luxe pony hair and round laces. The low cut collar comes with a tiny belt at the lateral side, complemented with silver-toned D-rings placed along the vamp and lower forefoot. While the piece bears the mold of a classic footwear staple, its lacing patterns at the front are reminiscent of bondage styles, offering an interesting contrast to what would have otherwise been a simple rehash of a traditional silhouette. But instead, COMME des GARÇONS shakes up the mold, covering the toe cap with luxe pony hair materials and adding on darkened leopard spots. As a finishing note, the piece comes with a thick rubber creeper sole for added cushioning.
The COMME des GARÇONS x George Cox Leopard Print Lace-Up Shoes are currently available at brownsfashion.com for $459 USD.
