Nike Deconstructs Its Air Max Plus and Serves up "Psychic Blue" Highlights
Layered with contrasted top-stitching.

Following the “Evolution of the Swoosh” collection unveiled recently, Nike has released a deconstructed iteration of the Air Max Plus in “Psychic Blue.” The uppers have been reworked for a more stripped-down look and feature contrast top-stitching all around.
Doused in a light blue palette, these particular sneakers embrace the raw, unfinished inner layer of the uppers that would normally be covered up on a completed Air Max Plus. Soft nubuck fabrics appear along the tongue and heel, decorated with “Nike” branding as well as the “Tn” motif. White stitching distinctively outlines webbing along the sidewalls, complete with the main Swoosh and a suede mudguard that sits below. Topping off the design is a crisp white midsole that comes with translucent Air Unit bubbles, sporting a slight window-effect for the essential cushioning technology.
The Nike Air Max Plus Deconstructed “Psychic Blue” will be available at 3 a.m. EST, August 8 at 43einhalb.com for $200 USD.
Elsewhere, Nike has given its P-6000 silhoutte a gleaming “Metallic Silver” finish.
