As part of the brand’s Season 2 drop of its Fall/Winter 2019 menswear collection, luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton has dropped three new iterations of its low-top LV 408 Trainer. The trainers have made quite a wave since Virgil Abloh first debuted them, maintaining themselves as strikingly reminiscent of OG skateboarding shoes from the late ‘80s and early ‘90s.

Offered up in bright “Rouge” red, “Noir” black, and an eclectic mix of gray flannel and black, the shoes employ uppers made up of premium nubuck calf leather, with the brand stating that each pair takes approximately seven hours to hand stitch. The “Noir” colorway sees the shoes upper completely doused in the suede, employing a murdered-out all-black color scheme. The “Rouge” pair is similar, yet opts for a striking red that is contrasted by various black-colored details and paneling. The last pair totes an interesting material choice of gray flannel, with the lower half of the upper employing the suede in black. All pairs sit atop a gel-injected insole, with various “LV” branding details marking the lateral and medial sides, the tongue, as well as the heel.

You can check out the sneakers in the gallery above. All three iterations are currently available via Louis Vuitton’s web store, with a retail price set at $1,090 USD.

For more related news, the brand released a high-top version of the shoes in white and black.
