LG Teases Possible Triple Screen Smartphone in New Video Ad
The device is expected to make its debut next month.
South Korean tech purveyor LG looks to have something big on the horizon, having teased a triple screen smartphone earlier today via a video ad.
In the quick 20-second clip, LG shows off its upcoming phone which is equipped with two separate screens rather than one single foldable screen — seen on the Samsung Galaxy Fold. The video also teases that users will be able to use two different apps simultaneously on the two screens. Finally the ad closes by suggesting there could be a third smaller display on the phone’s front as well. However, the video could also be showing a phone that’s compatible with an accessory similar to LG’s Dual Screen case.
The triple screen smartphone is expected to make its debut next month on September 6 at the IFA 2019 press conference in Berlin. Keep it locked here for more details when they surface.
