Kazuda Xiono Returns in Second and Final Season of 'Star Wars Resistance'
With a surprise appearance from Kylo Ren.
Following the first season of Star Wars Resistance, that debuted last year, eager fans who’ve been waiting for the second season can now finally have a look at its official trailer. Disney has just released a preview for the final season of the animated series.
The series focuses on the young mechanic-turned-Resistance pilot Kazuda Xiono, who, along with allies, gain control over the Colossus, an aircraft refueling station, from the First Order. The upcoming season appears to be set after the events of the First Order’s invasion (the same timeframe as The Last Jedi), where the allies lost a member of the crew to the side of the villains – Tam Ryvora. Besides cameos of some characters from season one, like Phasma, Poe Dameron and BB-8, the trailer reveals one significant appearance by Kylo Ren, the imperialist leader from The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. Though it is unclear whether there will be more notable characters showing up, fans can look forward to an epic season as Disney wraps up what would be the shortest-run of the franchise’s recent animated series.
