Jordan Peele's 'Us' Is Being Turned Into a Halloween Maze
Putting you face-to-face with The Tethered.
After dominating the headlines earlier this year, Jordan Peele‘s sophomore effort Us is now being turned into a horrifying Halloween maze.
The two new mazes will be housed in Universal Studios Hollywood and the Universal Orlando Resort and will feature the unnerving labyrinth of underground tunnels that “stretch from coast to coast” below America, as seen in the film. Fans daring enough to face the maze and the Tethered will be treated to a full-fledged story as they navigate through the course. The maze will start in 1986 as young Adelaide Wilson enters into a mirror funhouse where she firsts encounters her tethered doppelgänger. The story will then take fans into a twisted present as The Tethered begin a mass uprising against their doubles. “The Us maze will place guests at the heart of this living nightmare, where they quickly realize they are their own worst enemy,” reads a Universal press release.
“It’s very exciting to know that fans of Us will get to experience firsthand the terror of being stalked and tormented by The Tethered. It’s been a lifelong ambition of mine to create a monster that would scare people on Halloween, so having The Tethered join such esteemed company is a dream come true,” said Peele.
