FACETASM & AIRWALK Bring Back the Disaster & Enigma With Latest Collab
Alongside a slew of graphic T-shirts.

Rolling off its collaboration with THE CONVENI, FACETASM is back with its latest co-sign, resurrecting a set of vintage AIRWALK sneakers, the Disaster and the Enigma, alongside a slew of graphic tees.
This project marks the first collaboration between the two entities and sees FACETASM’s signature design cues over classic AIRWALK staples. Originally released in the ’80s the Disaster has been updated with new materials and a fresh color scheme. Constructed in a boot-like mold, the sneaker sees a high padded collar, accented with red and blue rubber eyelets below. Working down to the main body, a large velcro strap covers the forefoot, complemented by AIRWALK’s rounded logo at the sidewalls. Other details like “FACETASM” branding at the lower heel and a brightly colored outsole top off the footwear piece.
Another featured retro silhouette is the Enigma, which first released in the ’90s. This updated rendition of the sneaker is dominated by jet black velvet fabrics and leather panels, underscored by a vivid blue midsole. Soft suede cushions appear along the back collars – “FACETASM” and “AIRWALK” are stamped at the rear. Other parts like the leather toe cap and rubber tongue patch bring back the nostalgic designs of the past while updating them with a contemporary twist. As a final note, two graphic tees and a long-sleeve round up the bold visuals of the concise capsule.
The FACETASM x AIRWALK Capsule will be available exclusively on August 9 at FACETASM’s Omotesando location in Tokyo, ranging from $113 – $235 USD.
Elsewhere, Off-White™ has delivered its signature binder clips in “Orange” and “Black.”
