Jan Cerny's FW19 Editorial Showcases Colorful Wares Against Pastoral Backdrop
Detailed shots of the Prague-based designer’s revamped suiting.
Jan Cerny‘s progressive Fall/Winter 2019 looks were a highlight of this year’s Prague Fashion Week shows, and now the designer is offering a closer look ahead of the collection’s launch.
The seasonal washed-out suits offer a precise counterpoint to the editorial’s lush background, juxtaposing greenery against the slim, shirtless tailoring. A cool-hued grid pattern lends an adventure-ready bucket hat and oversized pocket shirt some sartorial edge, furthered by stencil-like prints and trim black trousers. Cerny’s latest Prestige sneaker collaboration anchors all the outfits with street-friendly accessibility, having recently impressed Virgil Abloh, who mentors Cerny while the Prague designer interns at Louis Vuitton.
Expect Jan Cerny’s latest to hit stockists like THE ROOM by Basmatee shortly.
