Watch the Trailer for Netflix's 'The Red Sea Diving Resort' Starring Chris Evans
Inspired by a true life rescue mission in Sudan back in the ’80s.
Netflix has dropped the official trailer for biographical drama film The Red Sea Diving Resort, written and directed by Homeland’s Gideon Raff. The film is loosely inspired by a rescue mission carried out by Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad in the ’80s. The movie stars Captain America’s Chris Evans and Emmy nominee Michael K. Williams as international agent Ari Kidron and local Kabede Bimbro respectively.
“Inspired by remarkable true life rescue missions, THE RED SEA DIVING RESORT is the incredible story of a group of international agents and brave Ethiopians who in the early ’80s used a deserted holiday retreat in Sudan as a front to smuggle thousands of refugees to Israel.”
The remainder of the all-star cast is composed of The Equalizer’s Haley Bennett, Game of Thrones’ Michiel Huisman, American Hustle’s Alessandro Nivola, Academy Award nominee Greg Kinnear, Gandhi’s Ben Kingsley and 12 Years A Slave’s Chris Chalk.
