First Trailer for 'Jumanji: The Next Level' Teases an Epic New Journey
Danny Glover, Awkwafina & Danny DeVito join the franchise.
After a few leaks and teasers, the first official trailer for Jumanji: The Next Level has been shared today by Sony Pictures.
Acting as a sequel to 2017’s Welcome to the Jungle and the 1995 OG film, The Next Level will see Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan returning for a new round in the action-packed video game. Additionally Awkwafina, Danny DeVito and Danny Glover join the franchise, while Nick Jonas, Colin Hanks, Ser’Darius Blain, Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, and Morgan Turner all reprise their original roles. This time around DeVito and Glover’s characters get pulled into the game as Johnson and Hart’s avatar, giving the latter two the chance to show off some new comedy skills.
Welcome to the Jungle brought in over $962.1 million USD in profits at the box office. Jumanji: The Next Level arrives in theaters December 13 hoping to top its predecessor.
