UNIQLO UT & Makoto Shinkai Are Releasing a T-Shirt Capsule for 'Weathering With You'
Also featuring artwork from ‘your name.’
Gearing up for the released of his highly-anticipated animated film Weathering With You, Makoto Shinkai has teamed up with UNIQLO UT for a batch of graphic tees.
Arriving in 7 different designs, each of the unisex shirts contain scenes from Makoto Shinkai’s blockbuster hit your name and the forementioned upcoming movie. While the movie poster graphics will most likely be on the top of everyone’s list — the your name T-shirt sees the protagonists over a dusk backdrop while the Weathering With You tee depicts character, Hina Amano, as she brightens the sky — there are also more playful options that indirectly reference defining scenes of the two films.
Priced at ¥1,500 JPY (approximately $14.90 USD) each, the Makoto Shinkai x UNIQLO UT collection is set to go on sale on July 22, both in-store and online.
