girl in red's “I’ll Die Anyway” Video Features Home Videos of her Childhood
“I reach for me but I’m not there, I always wonder why I’m here.”
Girl in red is back with a new song titled “I’ll Die Anyway.” The single, which is accompanied by a music video, finds 20-year-old Marie Ulven from Oslo, Norway singing about her self-doubt and not knowing what’s next. “I reach for me but I’m not there, I always wonder why I’m here. It’s fine, it’s OK. I’ll die anyway,” she sings.
In a recent interview with The FADER, Ulven said “I think this is the most honest song I’ve written on how I perceive my life. Understanding life and what it means to be human is difficult. I’ve always questioned my existence, meaning, time and the universe. All I know is that I don’t know.”
“I’ll Die Anyway” will be on Ulven’s upcoming Chapter 2 EP. Check out the video above and her North America and Europe tour dates for this fall below.
