Michael Peña & Eva Longoria Go Missing in 'Dora and the Lost City of Gold'
Nickelodeon’s popular series hits the big screen.
Paramount Pictures has shared a new trailer for its forthcoming live-action film Dora and the Lost City of Gold based off of Nickelodeon’s popular animated series.
Just like the cartoon the film will follow Dora, played by emerging actress Isabela Moner, and her pal Boots as they tackle various puzzles and riddles during their travels. This time however Dora is a high school student and is on a mission to find her missing parents, played by Eva Longoria and Michael Peña, as well as trying to solve the mystery behind the missing Inca civilization. The action adventure is also a playful take on such mega franchises like Indiana Jones and The Mummy.
The film also stars Mexico’s biggest stars, Eugenio Derbez, Jeffrey Wahlberg, Nicholas Coombe, Madeleine Madden, and Academy Award nominee Adriana Barraza. Dora and the Lost City of Gold arrives in theaters August 9.
