Converse Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Stars & Bars Model With Commemorative Release
Also nicknamed the “Jack Star.”
Celebrating its rich history, Converse is set to release a “50th Anniversary” iteration of its Stars & Bars heritage model.
Also nicknamed the “Jack Star” by fans, the commemorative release will feature a high cut construction with a black shaggy suede upper. Detailing on the shoe comes in the form of contrast stitching, leather panels around the ankle, narrow eyelets. The defining Stars & Bars midfoot decoration features white leather underlays that pairs nicely with the crisp flat white laces. Finally, high fox taping, heel license badges and vulcanized rubber outsoles round up the design of the commemorative shoe.
Priced at ¥13,000 JPY (approximately $120 USD), the Converse Stars & Bars Suede-Hi “50th Anniversary” is set to release at select retailers August 8.
