Gucci's Flashtrek Receives a Punk-Tinged Makeover
Clad in overlapping belt straps and silver-toned spikes.
After releasing its Flashtrek with bright neon highlights, Gucci has delivered a punk-tinged rendition of the silhouette. This particular model is dominated by a black upper detailed all over with tall silver-toned spikes.
The upper is made up of a mix of black tech canvas, leather and mesh panels that sit atop a hefty midsole. Doused in bright yellow, the inner collars offer a nice contrast to the dark sneaker, while other color accents like the green heel tab and gold monogram near the toe cap also add depth to the muted color scheme. Thin belt straps are secured by a snap button at the heel and cross over the forefoot and wrap under the bridge of the sole. Finishing off the sneaker is a chunky midsole that sees a slight rise at the heel.
