'Silver' Teams up With FPAR on a Hemingway-Inspired Capsule
In conjunction with issue N°4.

It was just back in September last year when Takuya Chiba, former editor-in-chief of GRIND magazine, parted ways with the publication for a fresh start as the head of his newly established Silver. While the magazine has since covered a wide spectrum of labels, Silver is announcing a special collaboration with FORTY PERCENT AGAINST RIGHTS.
Captioned with “Take a journey with precious things” on the front cover, Silver‘s fourth issue is inspired by one of Ernest Hemingway’s famous quotes “Never to go on trips with anyone you do not love” – a phrase Hemingway penned in A Moveable Feast that described an unpleasant traveling experience with F. Scott Fitzgerald. As a nod to the travel references, the two imprints have created a range of simply decorated T-shirts and tote bags.
Leading the capsule is a white T-shirt featuring Hemingway’s quote over a page that was drawn from Tetsu Nishiyama’s son’s notepad. Thin doodles and child-like writing are emblazoned over the front, while “Silver” is scrawled on the left sleeve – FPAR and Silver co-branding are also stamped at the back. A black tote bag dressed with white cursive lettering rounds up the travel-themed capsule.
The FPAR x Silver Capsule is currently available in limited quantities at Tsutaya Books Daikanyama, ranging from $35 – $60 USD.
In other related news, Erik Brunetti and FUCT won a landmark Supreme Court trademark case.
