Japan-based hip-hop collective PKCZ — consisting of DJ Daruma, Verbal, and EXILE member Makidai — have joined alongside Korean rapper CL and Dutch producer Afrojack for a new audiovisual entitled “CUT IT UP.” The new music video takes a Kill Bill-meets-Samurai Champloo direction, with various animations overlaid atop samurai-themed shots of the members fighting off assailants. Both Verbal and CL offer up their signature sounds through articulate flows, with the chorus employing a catchy and easy-to-follow topline. The instrumental relishes in a unique dancehall-meets-trap vibe, wherein Afrojack infuses EDM sensibilities into the track.

You can listen to PKCZ’s “CUT IT UP” featuring CL and Afrojack below.
