Pivot Gang and Kari Faux Come Together in 'Mortal Kombat' Music Video
The Chicago-based group take on the streets of L.A.
Following the release of their single “Jason Statham, Pt. 2“, Chicago-based Pivot Gang returns alongside Kari Faux for their new video “Mortal Kombat.” The video game-inspired track prominently features members Saba and Joseph Chilliams alongside producers daedaePIVOT and SqueakPIVOT while MFn Melo and Frsh Waters sit this one out. The squad delivers verses with distinct, breezy flows and a low-key reference to MK character Kung Lao from Chilliams.
Directed by Cam “Contact” Robert, the Chicago natives during a recent L.A. retreat recorded themselves cruising through Sun Valley and dancing around with black-and-white visuals. According to the press release, the squad linked with Saba during his tour stop in Cali to shoot footage for the video between shows.
In case you missed it, Yella Beezy made it rain in his “Rich MF” video.
