OKOKOK Delivers Satirical Summer 2019 Lookbook

Inspired by news media, misinformation and fear mongering.

Back in July last year, fledgling Hong Kong-based imprint OKOKOK released a humorous lookbook featuring a slew of graphic tees. The label has returned this summer with a new set of prints highlighted in a playful video as well as imagery.

The video captures the concept of OKOKOK’s Summer 2019 collection — a satirical riff on news media, misinformation, and fear mongering. This concept was the driving narrative of the graphics, emblazoned over purple, burgundy, white and black bases. Collaboration pieces with Tokyovitamin, Perth’s Streetx and Thailand’s Blue Boys Club are included in the assemblage as well. One standout piece is a white T-shirt with a yellow star placed behind “OKOKOK” branding in cursive. Another highlighted piece is the black T-shirt with an illustration of a globe — A circle of people holding hands is placed above, while a multi-colored logo underscores the artwork. Other pieces like sweatpants, long-sleeves, and sweaters round out the concise range.

The Summer 2019 collection is currently available on OKOKOK‘s website. Check out the gallery above to see the latest lookbook and scroll below for the video.
