Nike's Air Ghost Racer Arrives in Stealthy Black & Grey
A monochrome makeover for the ’90s trainer.




Nike continues its steady re-release of vintage trainers, this time with a black, grey and white colorway of the Air Ghost Racer. In tune with the current trend for updating archival models that harness futuristic details, the Nike Air Ghost Racer sees a number of panels in leather and nylon mesh, all matched with metallic TPU overlays.
As this was originally intended for marathon training and long-distance running, the sneaker features a full-length Duralon BRS-1000 midsole and a Zoom Air heel unit. For added structural support, faux-carbon fiber inlays are joined at the arch and heel portions of the shoe. Fans of this sneaker, a models that was originally released in 1998, can find it over at 43einhalb for a price of €120 EUR (approximately $136 USD).
