Taking the shape of a retro-leaning technical runner, the silhouette features a white mesh base accented by panels of leather that replicate the dynamic lines found on Amuro Ray’s iconic mecha. Additional detailing comes in the form of TPU hits of red and blue, yellow cutouts that resemble the eyes of the Gundam and a yellow shield crest applied on the tongue. Finally, trail laces, a RX-78-2 marked flag heel pull tab and a sculpted white Phylon midsole paired with a multi-color rubber outsole round up the design of the collaboration.
Priced at ¥499 RMB (approximately $72 USD), the Mobile Suit Gundam RX-78-2-inspired sneaker is available now on 361°’s webstore.
